Different Types and Characteristics of Plastic Profiles in Dongguan

Profiles can be said to mostly refer to plastic profiles with complex cross-sectional shapes processed by extrusion process using PVC resin as binder, adding different additives and mixtures. There are many different types of profiles, which can be roughly divided into several kinds?

I. Profiled Pipes

In addition to general circular pipe and pipe with various cross-section specifications, there are corrugated pipe, foamed sandwich pipe, wire reinforced pipe, fiber reinforced pipe, pipe with knots and other kinds of pipe belong to special-shaped pipe.

II. Closed hollow profiles

It is a profiled material with single or multiple holes on the cross section. The cross section is completely closed. There are transverse bars in the middle, and the wall thickness is different.

III. compartment profiles

It is also called compartment type medium hole profile. It is also a single-hole or multi-hole profile, but has branches extending outdoors.

IV. Open Profiles

There is no hollow room on its cross section, and it is thin-walled profiles, such as plastic eaves and ditches, staircase anti-skid strips, kickboards, mirror lines and other profiles.

V. Composite Profiles

Plastics with two or more different properties are formed by co-extrusion. For example, the base of hard PVC kick line is compounded with soft PVC, which has good sealing with the ground.

VI. Mosaic Profiles

It is made by compounding metal, wood, fabric and other materials with plastics in the extrusion process, in order to solve some defects in the performance of plastics, give full play to the advantages of the two materials and improve the decorative effect.

VII. Heart Profile

It is used to extrude solid profiles for other processing.

VIII. Low Foaming Profiles

Its relative density is 0.6-0.95 and foaming ratio is 1-2 times. Major production of wood products, such as hanging mirrors, staircase handrails and so on.

Although the section of plastic profile is complex, because plastic is easy to be processed and the design of the die is reasonable, it can be extruded to get the product at one time, and the production efficiency is high.
